From first message to final session — here is exactly how it works. No guesswork, no surprises: everything agreed in writing before a needle touches skin.
Tell us your idea
Japanese new traditional subjects you're drawn to — koi, dragons, masks — the elements you love, and any reference images. The more you show us, the better.
Size & placement
Tell us roughly how large you want it and we'll settle the final size together. As a house rule, nothing smaller than your palm — fine detail needs room to age well.
Pick a date
We'll find a time that works on both sides, with room to adjust if life happens.
Quotation
A price range based on subject, complexity and size. Quotes are indicative — the final price is confirmed with your artist, and a capped fee can usually be discussed.
Deposit
A deposit secures your booking; the amount varies by artist and piece. We'll walk you through the refund terms before you pay anything.
Agreement
Before you sign, everything is in writing: design details, price, services, and both sides' rights and responsibilities.
